October Angel Art Blog Hop

I'm so excited to be playing along in another Angel Art Blog Hop! Fellow Angels and I are doing a "All Things Fall" themed Blog Hop this month. I decided to do a Halloween wall hanging... my first attempt at anything like this. It was certainly fun and I kept changing and adding as I went! Take a look and let me know what you think, then be sure to hop through the other blogs to see what they have to share too! Thanks for looking!

For the background I colored with aquacolor crayons and a water brush, then added some chalking. The lamposts (hinge stamps :-) and bushes were first stamped and embossed with transcendence. The castle was cut out on my Wishblade, thanks to the Yahoo Wishblade group for the file!

For the moon I colored in with copics, covered with Crystal Lacquer and then popped up another set of bats for depth.

These kids were colored with copics then cut and popped up. I added a little yellow chalk to theme for moonlight. Can you tell that I am having fun with lots of different types of coloring?

My tombstones were cut and sponged with Noir Palette ink. I scribbled on them with a black slick writer and added some yellow chalking to them too. I only popped the top of these.

Now Hop Along to these Angel Blogs!

Teresa, this is awesome. What a fantastic wall hanging - I love it!! Great work with the copics. Using the hinges as lightposts is certainly an out-of-the-box idea - a great one! rita w

What a creative idea! I see all sorts of possibilities with this - now I have to find a castle for my Cricut because I have a little princess who might just enjoy a wall hanging too. TFS

What a great job! I never would have thought to use the hinges as lampposts but they work very well!
