October Paper Wings Blog Hop

It's time for the October Blog Hop for Paper Wings Angels! This month the theme is anything but a standard A2 card! I went for a tri-fold card and had sooooo much fun! I made this during a four day retreat and ended up making one for each of my seven companions! We had such a great time! This also falls into this weeks Flutter By Wednesday Challenge #127.

I used the Happily Grateful set and fell in love with it! Such a pretty butterfly and the leafy vines have so many possibilities! The Scor-Pal was a great help in getting my fold and cut lines figured out. The front piece is popped up. I used Labels 5 Nestabilities Die and then sponged it with the die still in place to keep the edges white.

On the darker sections I stamped in Noir Palette and then sponged Summer Sky Memento and Night Sky Versa Magic and matted on Navy Blue CS. On the lighter sections I stamped and sponged only with Summer Sky.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look. Don't forget to show some love and hop on over to my fellow angels' blogs to see what lovely creations that they have for you!

Lisa

Very pretty card, Theresa! I've been trying to figure out how to use Happily Grateful on a sympathy card, and I think you've helped me! I may have to case your card!!! Thanks for another great hop, my friend!
