Retiform Blog Hop!!!!!

Retiform Blog Hop

It is Blog Hop time at The Angel Company! Click on the picture above to Go to The Savvy Projects Blog and see! This month the theme is Retiform. This is a new technique for me, and was a bit difficult to figure out. There are some wonderful tutorials on the Savvy Projects blog to help you out though! While you are there check out all the Fabulous You feature sets going on every weekday!

I tried two cards, one I like, the other not so much, but I’ll figure it out and of course have to show you anyway right! This first card uses Fanciful Vintage.

Retiform Blog Hop

Stamp: Fanciful Vintage
Ink: Cote d’Azure and Bordeaux Palette
Paper: White CS and Caboodle A CS
Other: sponge, floss

Retiform Blog Hop 2

The second card I wanted to try on Kraft… not so sure on the bright yellow, and I think the blue I used is just too light… and there was actually the random letter stamp from Background soup in blue and it just kind of blended right in when it dried… live and learn right! I colored the boat with Prisma pencils and OMS.

Stamps: Background Soup, Bless Your Heart, Anchor to the Soul
Ink: Burnt Umber, Ballet Blue, Sunflower Palette
Paper: Kraft CS
Other: sponge, prisma pencils, OMS

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think!

Hop on over to see what other lovely retiform examples there are and join in the fun!

oh wow - such two different looks. I love the vintage feel of the first one and the second is just so neat - really spotlights the boat and message. love the subtle background soup circles in the yellow ink layers!
