DDH Fancy Fold Blog Hop

Its time for another DDH Blog Hop! This month we are going for Fancy Folds…. I’m a basic card maker, so fancy folds don’t happen very often for me. I stuck close to home and went with a gate fold card. If you came here from Paula-Kay’s Blog, you are on the right track, if not you should hop over to the DDH blog to start at the beginning!

This pretty fairy is from the Flower Fairies set. I colored her with copics and chalked in the background.

The pearls in the corners are from recollections and I spritzed some Iridescent gold glimmer mist over masks on the purple and then a quick spritz on the image too for some sparkle.

Three mystery Design Team members will be hiding a magic shovel in their fancy fold. This magic shovel will give you A Day at the Beach from Digi Design House just for commenting on their blog post. You have until 6:00PM CST on Sunday, June 12 to comment. At 6:01PM, the number of comments will be tallied, and the random number generator will do its magic to pick the winner. You don't know which team members have the magic shovel, so make sure you comment on EACH stop in the hop. Oh yes, we are giving away THREE FREE STAMP SETS!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look, please let me know what you think! and then be sure to share the love with my fellow DT members! Time to keep hopping, next up is the lovely Tracy!

Beautiful card, Teresa. I love purple, and the pearls accent it so nicely.

Love the light touch with the iridescent gold. As usual your coloring makes me want to do more. What ink do you use for the black so it doesn't spread with the copic coloring.

Beautiful Gate Fold! I am a bit intimidated by fancy folds also! But I will have to try this gate fold! Your coloring is awesome and love the extra pearls that you have added! Have a wonderful day and weekend! Happy Creating! Sara

WOW! I've never seen anyone use Glimmer mist over masks like that, but that background is really, really great! Thank you for the tip!
