Gone Golfin’

I just had to play along with OWH’s Midweek Throwdown Challenge for a masculine card! A random winner will be chosen to receive a stamp set from The Angel Company! As a Veteran and Military spouse I have to say that OWH is amazing! Giving our military a chance to send some love back home with handmade cards is such a wonderful thing to do. If you haven’t heard of it, then pop over and see what it is all about and send them some cards if you can.



This little golf ball is just too cute, it is from the TAC set Greatest Dad. I colored him with copics. Used Nestabilities Labels 9 and popped them up. I played a bit with the paper piercer and embossed the green CS with a grass fiskars texture plate. The striped blue is TAC. I sponged everything with Burnt Umber Palette.

May Angel Blog Hop

I'm still here... spent a bit of time doing some cutting and mounting... I got a hot knife so I've learning the ropes of cutting and mounting in a new way. I LOVE the results though!

I made two cards for this hop. The first one is finally putting that sneak peek image to use! This image is from our April Celebrate Him Promo, but keep an eye out in our next catty as I think he is coming back! I colored him with copics and chalked in some blue and green for the background.

This next card uses a sentiment from the That Guy April Promo set and image from Found Joy, part of our current May and June Jubilation! You can get this set of six for $5.95 with a $30 purchase! I stamped in Burnt Umber Palette and embossed with Transcendence clear embossing powder. I chalked with blue over the entire background and then mounted on Navy and Brown Cardstock. In real life the background is much bluer... just isn't wanting to show up in my photos.
