Mother's Day cards.... round one

It's amazing how many lovely cards I can amass... yet I've become terrible about actually getting them sent out. That or planning out a design I want to do with a new set... and then not getting to it. Well I got a lot done today... in the nick of time! I got my cards done for Mother's day so I can get them in the mail tomorrow... after I get some lovely artwork from my 5 yr old to include!

Showing you two variations on a design today.... and another hopefully tomorrow after I get some pics taken.

I used the same blue bottom layer for both, it appears gray in the first one though... gotta love lighting and temperamental cameras! I even did some sewing on here! Woo Hoo!

The Angel Company Supplies:
Stamps: Beautiful Place (retired), trendy greetings
Ink: Noir Palette
Paper: Kraft CS various colors CS
Other: Copics, scor-bug, MS border punch, pop dots, sewing machine

Leaving you with a little sneak peak... still didn't snap a good pic, but since I haven't put this guy into a card yet... I at least want to show that I've been busy coloring! Will give you the deets when I put it together!

Thanks for taking a look, let me know what you think and have a wonderful week!

I love your sewing! Are you doing that on a real machine or did you get a sew-mini? I can't wait to have mine out again!

I think your cards are wonderful. This is my first visit here, but I'll try to stop by more often. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary

Mama Monkey.... yes it is a real machine... my old Brother I got back in probably 2002 and used rarely. I'm having loads of fun with it!

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments!
